Strangers Strangers – Second oldest bar in the world. A veritable cornucopia of strangeness, this bar looks about a story high from outside: rundown, sloppily built and lit by a guttering neon light. Built in an alleyway that isn’t always in the same place and surrounded by shadows with teeth, this place is really odd. Go inside and it’s at least three stories, with a bar on the ground floor and rooms for hire upstairs. The common room is large, warm and more or less safe from the outside world if not from the other patrons. The drink’s good enough but it would be advised to leave the snacks be. There’s said to be a daemon chained with a pentagram under the floorboards and several of the Northside Loners have made an unspoken pact with the humans: the cats get to sleep in the relative safety of the common room, and in return they hunt the oversized mice.

Church of Saint Judas A small, claustrophobic church pressed into the deepest, darkest parts of the Northside slums, the Church of Saint Judas is a place for no-hopers, runaways and loose women looking for work. The gaudy neon glow of nearby buildings selling every illegal item in the world illuminates the shattered windows and the rude graffiti – the interior has been stripped to essentials and most days street brawls that have spilled inside have disrupted the seating plan so that the old man who runs the place has to put all the benches back before the next service.

Blackmagick Sanctum Voodoo dolls, arcane magicks, crystal balls, probability wands and more – we accept all major credit cards, cash, angels tears and you soul (or someone else’s,). This unholy place is a construct built completely out of metal with runes (and graffiti,) scratched into the overlapping plates of steel, iron, and what might once have been aluminum for a short while. A place to be avoided, but a place that somehow avoids bankruptcy although it must have a busy day if they have less then one customer a day.
