Well, me, I'm strange as most who think they know me think they know, so last night when I got home at 1 from babysitting, I sat down and wrote a poem. Woopty. Anyways, here it is...keep in mind that I don't write poems...I just happened to think of this one...The second stanza's third line is a little smooshed...I'll have to fix it eventually...anyways, thanks for reading. Tip your waitresses.
Life is a sea of tumb'ling thoughts; Its course is never clear. Storm's approaching, O Captain, My Captain The ships are sinking, m'dear.
Hold everything together now: The glue is on the way! All life's peices exactly in their place But one has gone astray.
"To catch two birds with just one stone"; How then do we catch life? Endless days spent with a butterfly net Its capture would mean strife.
What is life but a few seconds passed In watchful eyes of God? A blink and you're born, another, you're gone Only footprints where you trod.
